So…what is the Monday Poll?
Well, information technology isn't exactly a poll. It's more of a constantly evolving (devolving?), somewhat random listing of questions I've been putting out to readers every Monday morning time for the past 10 (!) years. (Information technology's similar a kickstart for your brain.) I've ever enjoyed reading your answers in the comments, and I promise you savour reading mine. ?
1. The beginning thing I did after I woke up this morn was…
Damn my warning to hell and stay in bed for x more minutes, LOL! I really, REALLY didn't desire to get out of my comfy bed this morn, but c'est la vie. I had to.
I set my warning for 5:thirty during the week, and sometimes it's hard to become ye olde booty out of bed. The baby's been waking up in the middle of the night lately. Sometimes she screams and so cries herself dorsum to slumber (I think she has very vivid dreams). Other nights she'll just be up talking happily to herself for hours in the dark.
If she'southward upset and tin can't soothe herself, I'll rub her dorsum for a few minutes and give give her her binky, and that usually works.
She got up a few times terminal night, so I'yard kinda tired today.
It doesn't really bother me though. Everything's temporary, and someday I'm sure I'll look back and really miss this time.
two. Someone in your life who ever laughs at your jokes?
I'1000 pretty sure I've asked this question before, so if I accept, distressing! Information technology but occurred to me again. 🙂
My answer has gotta be my blood brother. We take a very similarly weird sense of humor, and I always know that if I throw a random observation or joke his way, he'll totally get it. E'er does.
El Hub always gets my jokes, too, as practise my friends Jen and Cindy.
I like to think that Tabs gets my jokes, as well, just he's gotten much more official and serious in his senior tabby years.
three. Do y'all have any "imperfections" (quote, unquote) that yous love?
Oh, boy, I have so many to cull from if yous put any stock in dazzler magazines and large Instagram dazzler accounts. Seriously, how dare a adult female have pores?! It's like they aren't allowed.
I actually love that my right eye is slightly bigger than my left eye. Most people tin can't tell, but I can, especially when I take pics directly facing the photographic camera, which is why you'll meet me taking pics at an angle a lot.
It makes doing symmetrical middle makeup more of a challenge, for sure, and I don't heed a challenge. Plus, it makes me different.
And some other reason I love information technology is because Connor Claire has it too. It's genetics at work.
Information technology was more noticeable when Connor was a teeny, tiny babe than it is at present, just her left centre is slightly smaller than her right. She gets that from her mama. 🙂
4. If you lot were to battle information technology out on the trip the light fantastic floor like in those cheesy dance movies similar Step Up and Dearest, how do you lot remember you lot'd do?
Girl, the moves would be questionable. They'd all be from 1992-2002 and not executed very well at all, but I remember I'd score actress points in the sass section.
Seriously, I would bring information technology in a dance boxing. Watch out! Karen'due south comin' for you full force!
5. Why does makeup thing?
Everyone probably has a unlike respond for this, simply makeup matters to me considering it cheers me up, makes me experience better well-nigh myself and reminds me of good times. I think that anything that can make somebody feel meliorate about themselves, no matter how frivolous information technology is, whether it's putting on lipstick or a glaze of mascara, is a potentially good affair, because positive free energy like that can transfer to the people around u.s. and infuse the work we do and the way we interact with each other. When I feel put together, it definitely changes the running dialogue in my head.
And then fifty-fifty though lip gloss is a little thing in the bigger picture, it matters because of its ability to alter your perspective into something more than positive.
6. Three things that make you happy?
- Cute jump/summer dresses
- Ice cream cones
- Freshly painted nails
The coffee is slowly but surely kick in, AH! It's taking longer than usual today…just I have faith that it'll work. T-minus 10 minutes to full consciousness!
